The geopolitics & economy are going to take a turn towards old glories days of India & Lanka trade days. The new regime of Lanka is again in the hands of Shri Rakapaksas Family, this time the prime minister and the president are from the same family.
ModiNomics is the new norms in Indian Economics, a new India is with the core value of [ Sankalp | dream Vision ] The current prime minister of India Shri Narendra Damordas Modi, in his regime, Indian authorities have invested heavily on various projects in Sri Lanka, which is visible on the ground now with road connectivity, housing project, solar project funding. The Indian government has completed 70 odd projects and the target 🎯 is to have more 30 projects in the pipeline to complete the century figure. India & Lank has evolved correctly its all people-centric projects they are investing and building up. Lanka had fallen into the Chinese trap in a systematic way for the last 15 years 2005 to 2014. Japan and India were kept on the bay and Chinese CPC was in the front runner in these years and they have done only investments into vital security and critical areas of Lanka. The Chinees never touched the lives of the general masses it was a cut off investment plan augmenting ( one road and one belt ), it’s quite clear that the investments came into Lanka was for a purpose and to only establish Chinees CPC assets which are vital for the regional encircling of SAARC
It was under the watch of Mahinda, who was president from 2005 to 2014, that Sri Lanka locked itself into an economic embrace with China. Beijing’s no-strings overseas aid and loan policy saw China replacing Japan and India as Lanka’s main development partner in that period i.e: Colombo Port.
Modi magic started in 2017, to coordinate and build consensus within SAARC countries. Putting his team on a task mode prime minister Modi with a clear agent took only 2 years to have a communication channel established within the SAARC region and kick-started the economic activities with trade as its core agenda. Engaging Shri Gotabaya Rajapaksa with India was the masterstroke by Indian and this by this time the Chinese aggressive theory was clear floating on the Lankan waters. The Tamil Heartland has to be pacified; but at this e-learning age, Data is the Killer, not the Bombs, positive approach such as India ( Sabka Saat Sabka Vikas ) to take the Tamil minorities with the government program and move forward was the key after the booming of the Church ⛪ as radical forces were also encircling Lanka.
